Christmas 2009

I finally got the concept of opening presents, although I don't really understand the reason for the season or Santa.

I am spoiled rotten! I must have been good this year. I also got a huge swing set, that you'll see later, once it's warmer. We actually had a white Christmas. It snowed on Christmas Eve!!!

So here's how our afternoon started off.... He's just as scary as that SANTA guy!!!

















Nonna was in town, so we went to see Grench in ICE at the Gaylord Hotel. It was really cold!












Not too happy that I had to wear 2 coats.

Fall afternoon in Texas

Sunday was a beautiful fall afternoon in Texas... in the 80's. I went to GiGi and Pop Pop's house. We got to help Pop Pop pick up pecans and play in the leaves!!!!

Dang ants... the followed me to my bed! You'll notice my eyes are swollen. They bit me there, between my fingers, on my back and on my ear! I'm much better now though!

18 month check up!

We went today for Ashlyn's 18 month check up! Can you believe it, already a year and a half old!!! Anyways, she's skinny and super tall for her age. She's in the 25%-50% for weight and 95% for height... maybe she did get something from mommy, height! Her development is wonderful and above where some of her peers are!

Here's some of the things going on:

Words I know: Opi (open), NO!!!!!, cow goes "MOOOO", ball, rock (rocking chair), pop pop (pop tart), up, NO, NO, NO! (ah the joys of a toddler). Chazy (our dog), Bob (our cat), kitty (our other cat), Happy, milk, juice, eat and others that I can't think of right now, but I'll update it when I think of them!

Things I love: baba (baby), carrots, apple juice, chewy granola bars, chips, lemon cake, Ramon noodle, spaghetti o's, blocks that I can put together, balls, cars (to ride in) and wagon rides.

Things I do not like: bananas, ant bites, meat (although I eat a little, but not much) and that's really all...

Things I love to do: run, crawl up on things, get in mommy's cabinets, play with the neighbors, go to the pool, swing at the park, go to school, and have daddy push me in my car.
